If the fridge section is getting too cold, you can make use of our Advisory Service to repair this fault. The repair is straight forward and can be carried out by anyone with a basic set of tools including a 'multimeter'. The multimeter is used to take a resistance reading. If you don't have a multimeter, we can supply you with one (as shown below) for a total price of £7.45 including P&P. We can also tell you what you need to do to take the reading (even if you haven't used one before). .  . We have found from previous experience in repairing this problem, that the most efficient way to help you find out which part is faulty, is for you to have a 'one-on-one' telephone session with one of our technical advisors (for about an hour). Because of the time involved, we charge a set fee of £15 for this service. If you decide to make use of this advisory service, we then arrange a mutually convenient appointment with you, when you will have your tools and will have access to the fridge/freezer. During this time we will then be able to give you personal attention and guidance. You will not need to be on the phone with us for the whole hour, but you may need to phone us 4 or 5 times during that hour, as you progress through this simple project. By the end of this telephone session, you will have found out which part is needed. We are able to supply you with any of the parts and we will then also help you to fit it when it arrives. The part will cost from £20 to £55, depending on which part shows to be faulty. So far, while operating this advisory service, we have been able to give our customers a successful repair 100% of the time.
